🇬🇧 About one year ago I tried my first typic 🇬🇧 About one year ago I tried my first typical Ugandan meal: a dish of "food". It is made of a combo of different vegetables and cereals with a sauce of your choice between fish, goat meat, groundnuts and few more. In this rather rich plate there's pumpkin, matoke, posho, sweet potatoes, kalo, white rise, pilao rice and something else I can't remember! It was really tasty! 🇮🇹 Un año fa provavo per la prima volta il tipico piatto ugande: "food", ovvero "cibo". È un piatto combinato con cereali e verdure accompagnato da una salsa a scelta tra pesce, carne di capra, arachidi e qualcun'altra. In questa versione piuttosto ricca del piatto c'è zucca, matoke, posho, patata dolce, kalo, riso bianco, riso pilao e qualcos'altro che ora non ricordo! 🇬🇧 Resilience, bravery por stupidity? Why di 🇬🇧 Resilience, bravery por stupidity? Why did this small canary pine tree think that growing on top of a rock was a good idea? What does it give it the strength to stick to whatever its roots are hanging on? Will its courage be enough? Or is it simply a bit dumb? Canary pine trees have a peculiar "three needles bundle" structure. They are often born reddish, they grow bluish and end up classic green. In the second picture another small canary pine, less extravagant but with more chances of survival! 🇮🇹 Resilienza, coraggio o stupidità? Come gli sarà mai venuto in mente a questo micro pino canario di crescere sopra una roccia? Cosa gli dà la forza di aggrapparsi con le radici a chissà cosa? Il suo coraggio sarà ricompensato? Oppure è solo un po' scemo? I pini Canari si distinguono dagli altri per gruppi di 3 aghi e perché nascono rossicci, diventano lievemente azzurri e infine prendono il classico color verde. 🇬🇧 Mount Teide is visible from many places o 🇬🇧 Mount Teide is visible from many places on (and off!) the island. This is the pine tree forest surrounding the National Park. Here everything is still incredibly green and full of life. Not far from this valley, thought, begins the dry waste land closer to the volcano! 🇮🇹 Il Teide è visibile da tantissimi punti dell'isola (e anche dalle altre isole!). Questo è il bosco di pini che circonda buona parte del Parco Nazionale. Qui è ancora tutto incredibilmente verde e pieno di vita. 🇬🇧 Charco del Viento is one of the many natu 🇬🇧 Charco del Viento is one of the many natural coves on the coastline of Tenerife. They all have volcanic birth and only few have an access to swim. The tide and the wind make them sometimes accessible and sometimes crazy dangerous. Today, even with stunning transparent water and beautiful weather, I dared to enter the sea only in the morning, when the waves were still gentle! 🇮🇹 Il Charco del Viento è una delle tante calette naturali sulla costa nord di Tenerife. Hanno tutte origini vulcaniche e solo in poche si può nuotare. La marea è il vento tendono alcune di queste cale difficili da raggiungere e piuttosto pericolose. 🇬🇧 Lanzarote has some really interesting win 🇬🇧 Lanzarote has some really interesting wineries. The story goes back to the years after the long lasting eruption in the XVIII century, when the inhabitants found themselves with a ruined land covered by meters of ashes even where the lava hadn't arrived. Digging and testing out what could be planted, they discovered that grape would grow well in this black terrain. They still keep their vineyards in large holes today, protected by law walls from the harsh wind. 🇮🇹 Lanzarote ha vini interesanti. La loro storia inizia negli anni dopo la lunga eruzione del XVIII secolo, quando gli abitanti dell'isola si ritrovarono con i campi rovinati e ricoperti da metri di ceneri anche dove la lava non era arrivata. Scavando e provando cosa si poteva piantare, scoprirono che l'uva cresceva bene in questa terra nera. 🇬🇧 Playa Papagayo and the nearby bay of play 🇬🇧 Playa Papagayo and the nearby bay of playa de la Cera have been my favourite beaches in Lanzarote. The water is incredibly transparent, there are fish swimming between your feet and smooth rocks to sit on, enjoying peace far away from everibody else. There's also a stunning view with a brilliant sunset. When the weather is good, you can clearly see Fuerteventura hidden behind Isla de Lobos. 🇮🇹 Playa Papagayo e la vicina baia di Playa de la Cera sono decisamente state le mie spiagge preferite di Lanzarote. L'acqua è trasparente, ci sono pesci che ti passano tra i piedi e rocce levigate per sederti in pace lontano da tutti. Hanno anche una vista meravigliosa che offre dei tramonti degni di nota. 🇬🇧 Taking pictures during the pandemia is di 🇬🇧 Taking pictures during the pandemia is difficult: to take my mask off (well far away from everybody else) I got entangled in - sunglasses - hairpin - earrings Then I had to fix camera and bag, not loosing the mask. And finally, I've put everything back, Before even checking if the picture was OK or not, because, of course, I can't move around without the mask. How good can pandemia pictures be?? 📸 Second picture: Making of. ° 🇮🇹 Fare foto in tempi di pandemia è complesso. Per togliermi la maschera (ben lontana da chiunque altro) mi sono incastrata in : - occhiali da sole - pinza per capelli - orecchini Poi mi sono sistemata la borsa e la macchina fotografica. E alla fine ho rimesso tutto a posto prima ancora di controllare se la foto era carina o meno perché, ovviamente, non mi posso muovere senza maschera!
